Balance_Of_JusticeThe tactic of prohibition has something very profound in common with the tactic of military occupation.

Throughout history circumstances have arisen at one stage or another where both seemed to be a god idea to deal with a very particular scenario.

There was never any shortage of examples of why and how either of these things do not work and nay time they started to garner some popular support there was never a shortage of could point out the folly of these activities only to be ignored.

I am sure you have heard the old expression that the definition of madness is to keep doing the same things but expecting different results. This is often quoted and even more often ignored.

We now have a six month delay on the the enforcement of the full provisions of the 2006 online gambling ban in the United States. This is just another example of where prohibition has caused more problems than it has solved.

At this stage all we can hope for is that the new and rushed solution to the already failed solution actually turns out to be a scenario that will actually work.
